Hope everyone has a great weekend! Mine will be filled with an Air Show, going out for a friend's birthday, hopefully seeing The Last Song (FINALLY), and seeing Sugarland in concert!!! Can't wait!

A high school teacher used to say this to his class every Friday:

"As you know, it is Friday. There is a weekend between now and the next time I see you. You know this makes me very... concerned. So, please, this weekend, make good decisions. Don't do anything that would result in the premature death or injury of you or anyone you know or love. Please do not drink (Well, we're legal now.) Please do not do drugs. Please do not have sex. Please do not drink and drive, please do not to drugs and drive, please do not have sex and drive. Please do not ride with anyone who has been doing any of these things. Please do not have beer or caffeine. Please do not get pierced or tattooed. Please do not have any tobacco products, and please keep your seatbelt securely fastened. Please have a lovely weekend."

It's Friday and I'm excited for the weekend! I haven't had a weekend off work in awhile! Have fun celebrating St. Patricks Day!!  

let it snow

This weekend was a little rough. Attempted to come into work at 10 on Saturday, chickened out after seeing a flipped car, stopped for coffee on the way home, my car got towed in the 5 minutes i was "off the property", waited for an hour for the boyf to pick me up, drove up to rockville, $140 later, got my car, drove a stressful hour home and witnessed 2 cars slamming into the guardrail right next to me. 

But there were a lot of positives about this weekend as well. Didn't have to work due to the stressful events, got a campfire mocha (culprit of car towing, but decided it was worth it), went to b-dubs in rockville (since we were there!), bought band hero and jammed out with about 10 friends on Friday night. Discovered the best lasagna I've ever had! Recipe to come soon. Got really good at the drums in our band hero group. And then watched a Lost marathon all day Sunday. So altogether it was an adventure of a weekend. 

What's up with all this snow? Don't get me wrong, I love it! But this is crazy for DC.

Well, another week has come and gone. I hope everyone's weekend consists of all this and more:

Sadly, I will be at work. haha busy season sucks.

It's rainy out there today. It's snowy in Blacksburg though (apparently I still get the text updates about school closings.) Oh how I wish I was frolicking around the drillfield/503. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
