iPhone games
So I'm already obsessed with 2 games on my iPhone.
1) Angry Birds - You fling birds at pigs who are hiding in an infrastructure of ice, wood, and stone. There are birds that multiply, bomb birds, birds that speed up, and ones that lay eggs. It's so much fun, and for only $0.99 you get a ton of levels that are really hard!
2) Godfinger- This game you have your own planet and you control followers. The followers work on farms for gold, and then they need places to relax. You control the sun, clouds and lightning to keep your followers happy. You can also connect with friends (annoying feature to get more business). Apparently it's like FarmVille, but I've never played so I wouldn't know. The downside is that you can never stop the world, so it sends you updates all day that things are going on. I finally made all my followers resting in a teepee or fishing so nothing goes on while I'm at work. haha I sound a little obsessed, but it's super fun!

summer
It's the weekend! And a hot one at that. Summer is definitely in full swing. Hope you have fun plans. We are having another big BBQ at the house! And then I'm running a 5-K at 8am Saturday morning, that will hurt. Other plans = unpacking from Europe, seeing Toy Story 3, and relaxing a lot!

iPhone 4G
My old, decrepit Blackberry Pearl was completely outdated and functioning poorly, so I decided I needed a new phone. That day just happened to be the day before they announced the new iPhone. So while I was in Europe, the boyf kindly pre-ordered me the new one, and it arrived last night! A whole night before the iPhone 4 was out in stores! So I downloaded all the fun apps, and it's been really fun! The screen looks SO much better than the old one, the camera has a flash and zoom, there is an HD video-recorder and the battery is supposed to last a lot longer. All great features! I'm completely happy with my new phone! Now I just need a case so I stop carrying it around in the original box in fear that I will scratch it. I'm sure I will get used to it in a couple days, but for now, it's precious cargo.

World Cup 2010
In Europe, it was so much fun to watch the World Cup games! Everyone goes all out for the games! Luckily USA just beat Algeria to advance to the next round of 16. Are you excited?!
home sweet home
So I arrived back in the USA on Sunday. I'm happy to be back in a place where sweatpants and flip flops are not frowned upon. haha but of course, Europe was SO much fun! Pictures to come later, now it's back to the grind. Check out this adorable Paris collage from Snippet & Ink.

roadtrip to the beach
So now that I've worked 1 full day this week, I'm taking off tomorrow to Charleston, South Carolina! Just going for a girls roadtrip weekend. Seeing a couple friends and spending some time in the sun! Can't wait!
mall of america
Well I'm back from Minnesota. It was a great trip! The roller coasters at the Mall of America were awesome! We went the day we fly in and out! I accidentally forgot my camera on the trip (ugh), so I will have to take pics on my next trip in August.
They have a couple really awesome rides, including the log flume, a roller coaster (above) that goes straight up and down, and a roller coaster that spins around the whole time (below).
They also have this really fun ropes course! It goes up 4 stories to the ceiling. You are strapped in and have to walk across various ropes/planks. It was SO fun!!
The rest of the trip to the lake was great! The lake is beautiful with oligotrophic water which means its super clean and you can see through it to the very bottom! It was cloudy a lot, but we got out on the water to do some waterskiing and surfing behind the boat! It was fun "camping out" at the new lake house that is in the middle of being built. We had a great time with the boyf's parents and I can't wait to go again in August!!
