Newport Rhode Island

So we went to my cousin's wedding in Newport, Rhode Island last weekend. I just have one word- Gorgeous!!

And it doesn't hurt that my cousin Shannon and his new wife Robyn are in contention
 for the prettiest/ most awesome couple ever. 

It was great to see our cousins who we never see enough, even though we live 3 hours away.

A major attraction in Newport is the mansions. We took a tour of this one- Rosecliff, where 27 Dresses, The Great Gatsby, The Betsy, High Society, True Lies, and Amistad were filmed. How nice it would be to be that rich...

And although the nearly 24 hour drive there and back with my parents and sisterwas rough, the lobster sautee roll was more than worth it! Huge chucks of lobstersauteed in butter on a roll... can't make a trip to New England without experiencing this dish! 

Altogether, it was a pretty fun weekend! Traveling to new cities is always exciting.
